X Point has been working in the out-door sports industry since 1996. We have gained high level standards and experience during those years; our equipment and safety are at the highest levels. All of our guides are professionals, and fully licensed for white water rescue. The equipment we use for all our watersports is CE approved. We also keep our equipment updated, buying new gear every year for our guests. You will come to X Point as a tourist but, you will leave as a Friend.

Our X Point Office is based in the heart of Kobarid in the Soča Valley among the stunning Julian Alps. There are many things to do in Kobarid. Visit the WW1 Musum, Walk, the historic Kobarid Trail and visit the beautiful Kozjak waterfall. Chill out and enjoy the local beaches around the Soča river. In kobarid you will find Coffee bars, bakery, shops, Pizzazrias, and resutaurts.

Boka rafting

Rafting descent Boka is our most frequent descent and is carried out on the section of the river Soča between the waterfall Boka and Trnovo ob Soči. The first part of the descent is simpler and just right long to get acquainted with the technique of rowing and maneuvering the raft. The second part is faster and more attractive with rapids and takes place on part of the slalom kayak course.

Kayak School

If you are a beginner or would like to upgrade your kayaking skills, we recommend a kayak school. After just a few hours of the course, you will learn the basics on how to control the kayak on class 1 - 3 white water.

Canyoning

Canyoning offers a super interesting experience of the gorge from a new perspective. Sliding on natural slides, jumping into deep pools and walking on natural riverbeds are an integral part of this increasingly popular experience. Sušec is a canyon that we offer to all those who encounter these sports for the first time, and for others we also offer professional descents that require good physical fitness and basic knowledge of rope use.

Paragliding in Tandam. (flight with a pilot)

See the Soča Valley from a bird's eye with paragliding in tandam piloted by a qualified pilot. VIP FLIGHTS We offer VIP flights with a paraglider. We meet in our office where we complete the formalities and then take you in our jeep to the lauch points. When you land, we return to the center of Kobarid together and toast with blueberries schnapps. Tandem parachute flights are performed from various take-off points in the Soča Valley. Stol, Kuk or Matajur are just the most common - in case of favorable weather conditions, you can choose the take-off point yourself. In any case, the altitude difference between take-off and landing is at least 1000 meters altitude, which (depending on the conditions) means a flight between 15 and 20 minutes, sometimes more.
