The Great and The Small Soča Gorge
Just at the beggining of Lepena Valley, Soča carved 'Great Gorge'. Majestic tolmuns, long about 750m, are known as the one of the most beautiful part of the river.
'Lucid daughter of the mountains' with her emerald colour flows through gorges, deep also to 15 metres. Cliffs reflect the color patterns of the Soča, as it winds though the narrow canyons.
Further more, down the Valley of Trenta, the river shows another gem. The Small Gorge of Soča, in lenght of 100m and depth of 6 metres, also proudly reveals its emerald colours.
