Soča River
The Soča river, the one and only - the Emerald Beauty. Her spring is located in picturesque Trenta valley in Julian Alps, then she flows through her valley down to Solkan, where crosses the border. From there on she slowly approaches to the outfalls into the Adriatic Sea.
She is special in all seasons: in spring, her flow is greater because of the melting snow from surrounding peaks; in autumn, she often colours herself in the colour of coffee; but the best and most magnificent is of course in summer, when she wears the beautiful colour, which is known to all.
